Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mike and I live in the beautiful coastal town of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. I am a native of Maine and have lived in the area almost my whole life. I am married to a wonderful woman and have three beautiful children.
Currently, I work as a Project Manager for an IT firm in Portland and have been working for them since the middle of 2017. But I have held many different jobs in the past. I have worked with families in crisis as a social worker here in Southern Maine. I’ve been in technical support for a local credit union, phone support in the mortgage industry, a trainer and office worker in the banking industry, a cook, a sales representative, a board operator at a local radio station, and a handful of other far less glamorous positions. I even spent more than 10 years as a part-time pastor in the United Methodist Church! Of course, I thought that I’d be writing music somewhere in New York by now, but life tends to take you where it wants to go.
That’s the point of this site. I hope to look back over my life and see if there are any lessons to be learned. I’m not sure how often I’ll update it or if anyone will ever know about it. But if you’re reading this, maybe someone has noticed after all.
So take a peek into my life. But don’t blame me if you’re disappointed. There’s not much to see. But maybe that’s the point.
Oh, and if you want to see some of my ongoing craziness that lurks within my twisted mind, you can read some of my thoughts on the blog.
